Transforming Homes in Sutton-in-Ashfield with Salamander BluEvolution 82

In the charming town of Sutton-in-Ashfield, UK, we recently completed an exceptional project involving the replacement of four windows and two doors for a valued client. This project was aimed at enhancing the energy efficiency, security, and aesthetic appeal of the client’s home, utilising our top-of-the-line Salamander BluEvolution 82 system.

The first part of the project involved the installation of two high-performance windows. These windows, crafted with the Salamander BluEvolution 82 system, feature a white core with a black gasket, ensuring a sleek and modern look. Each window measures 570 mm x 1180 mm and incorporates V-Perfect welds for seamless joints. The advanced glazing, with a thermal coefficient of Uw = 0.89 W/m²·K, provides excellent insulation, significantly reducing energy costs. Additionally, the hidden AXXENT hinges allow the windows to open to a maximum angle of 97 degrees, offering both functionality and elegance.

We also installed a larger window unit, measuring 2120 mm x 1330 mm. This window, like the others, features the same high-quality construction with white and black detailing. It is fitted with a SIEGENIA TITAN turn-tilt fitting and standard security hardware, ensuring both ease of use and robust security. The advanced glazing in this unit boasts a thermal coefficient of Uw = 0.77 W/m²·K, further contributing to the energy efficiency of the home.

The second phase of the project focused on replacing two exterior doors. Both doors were crafted with the Salamander BluEvolution 82 system, featuring a white core with black gaskets, and are designed to provide superior thermal insulation and security. The first door measures 920 mm x 2080 mm and includes a Siegenia 2-HO-BO AS 2600 (5-point) door bolt with handle control. The aluminium threshold ensures durability and ease of access, while the ABUS SKG** class D lock with a knob offers enhanced security.

The second door, similarly constructed, also measures 920 mm x 2080 mm and features the same high-security Siegenia door bolt and ABUS lock. Both doors are equipped with hidden DR HAHN hinges, providing a clean and sophisticated appearance. The glazing used in these doors includes 6 Mirastar (one-way mirror) panels, ensuring privacy while allowing ample natural light to enter.
